Bzz Chicken Sausage?

My Giant Eagle (Waterfront in Pittsburgh) carries them in the fresh meat section by the natural and kosher meat products, not in the sausage/hot dog section. Took me a while to figure that out so I thought I'd help you out!

So how are they???? We were hopin to try the Buffalo Style.

You know, I just remembered! At our Stop & Shop they are with the organic chickens and the pre-seasoned raw meat (the ones you just cook, they are already prepped).

And, to whomever provided the info about Bzz, thank you! I just signed up and took all the available surveys. Sounds like a great little hobby and a great way to learn about new things!!

I signed up for this campaign - got the email saying the kit was on its way but have received nothing.

I did visit the website and there isn't a location within 50 miles that sells the sausage so maybe that's why I didn't receive anything.

The Bzz site says that bzzing about requesting the sausage will count though. At least that's good!

I was in an El Fresco campaign years ago. (2003 maybe?) Anyway, the Shoprite had them then. Now, the Shoprite, Wegmans, Albertsons (Acme) all carry them.

most of my bzz kits arrive in 3-5 days. al fresco took every bit of two weeks. i got it early last week, but i signed up two weeks prior to that.

Do you go to the site and fill out the surveys? Maybe the emails have been going to your junk email. I do not wait for the emails. I check the site everyday and I have learned to write more than one report for each product. When I first started I did no realize that I could do more than one. I am still in tier one but I have been writing several reports lately so I hope to move up soon. I have 5 different items at this moment.

I found the Al Fresco today at my Giant Eagle. They were with the Nature's Basket meats. I bought (ok, got for free) the garlic ones and the Italian ones. I think I will do as I have seen some others and pick up some vegetables and make shish kabobs with them on the grill. I'll let you know what I think after I've tasted them!!!

I found them in Troy, MO @ Kroger. Actually, they only had the breakfast sausage but I grabbed 4 packs (2 for me and 2 for a friend) since I have no idea when and if Dierbergs/Schnucks/Shop n Save will start carrying this brand. I happened to be in Troy for GS camp drop off or I wouldn't have bothered stopping at Kroger (I had checked the al fresco website for the locator.)

I just tried to sign up to become a bzzagent (this is my 2nd attempt)
and I never got a confirmation email at the end of the sign up process.

Anyone else have this problem? Please help............TIA

Those are the same two varieties I got with my free coupons and they were both very good.

Has anyone had any luck finding the 16oz. packages? I ended up using the free coupons on the 10oz. packages because nobody seemed to carry the 16oz.

I did that yesterday, there were no locations within 25 miles of me.

On another note, there is a request form to fill out and give to the meat dept. at your local grocer if you want to ask them to carry them. That link is on the site too.

For those of you who had trouble finding them and asked a grocer to carry them, submit the info as a bzzreport. For some reason, the al fresco campaign only has "create your own buzz" reports, but other campaigns have listed "Ask a store to begin carrying this product" as a bzz action. It's probably good for about 20-30 points if you report it.
