Byron Helgeson is Fabulous - thanks for the feedback

Has anyone dealt with Byron? When I called DVC and gave the name of the member who referred me to DVC (he did this some time ago but I have been lurking and gathering info), the person said that they like to have the same guide deal with me that dealt with the referring member.

Unfortunately he was on tour and will be calling me back

My question is has anyone dealt with him and do you have any feedback good or bad or indifferent?

He is my guide. A friend referred me to him also. I've had a positive experience with him. I have had no issues. He didn't hard sell, gave me the info I needed and responded to my questions. I'm actually considering calling him for an add on this week.

He is my guide too. He is very good. He always calls back promptly and is very professional. I think he is one of the most senior sales guide over there, based on what I heard from somewhere else. Good luck!!!

No problems. He returned all calls promptly and answered all questions fully. We had to have many short calls over many days do to my kids interuptions. He was very understanding and accommodating.

He is my guide too. No one referred me, he is just who I was routed to when I called the 1-800 number for more information. He has always been very friendly and professional, and I have enjoyed working with him so far.

Byron was our guide as well. Very impressed with him. He returned calls promptly, even when on holiday. He spent all the time we needed, answered all questions directly, applied no pressure.

Has great sense of humor. Returned my call at work one time and told my assistant that Mickey was calling!

Overall a first rate experience working wtih Byron.

I was randomly assigned to Byron several years ago....always prompt and professional, even though I did not purchase right away....

I made my initial purchase and 2 add-ons with Byron and have enjoyed dealing with him immensely.... I even joked with him that he should read these boards to see how many people love him as their guide!

Hi Jaysue,
Byron is are guide also. All we can say is he is GREAT. It took us about a year to decide to join DVC and he was there every step of the way to answer all our questions and was NEVER pushy and always polite. We just did an add on at BCV and hit a snag with member services. He was right there on the phone to rectify the problem quickly for us. You won't be sorry to have him as a guide. What do they do for a guide when you buy re-sale? I had gotten Byron calling the 800 number when I first started looking. He was from Minnesota like me, and he actually called me back just to chat about home. Then I purchased a re-sale and have not spoken to a guide since.

Byron is definately everything posted about him and more. I've been a DVC member for 10 years with 7 contracts at VB and OKW and Byron has been nothing but helpful, professional, laid back, humorous etc. He's answered every question accurately and promptly and has been a good friend to my wife and I.

We have Byron as our guide also. He has always been available and prompt to answer any questions. We have 4 contracts through him and he has never been pushy. I can find nothing negative in all of my dealings with him over the last 7 years.

I have been dealing with him since 1996, although like a fool I di not buy until 2000...Ohhh what I missed out on!!!( I kick myself frequently). Byron is terrific as everyone else has already said.

Byron is top-notch #1 in my book. He never pressured me whatsoever when I was attempting to make my decision about buying into BCV last year. In fact, he even returned a call I made to him on a Sunday afternoon because of some questions that I had about our pending purchase.

In my eyes he is a-typical of sales professionals. It may not be a big deal, but it really impressed me that he would ask how DW's pregnancy was going, or how DD was doing. This just shows that he is genuinely interested in the buyer and not the sale.

I'd recommend him to anyone.
