bypassing jacksonville and orlando traffic (I-95)

Is there a time frame when the construction will be finished to remove the last traffic light on 9A???

Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2009. At that time, it will be signed as Interstate 295, just like the western side. Additional information is available at http://www.sr9a.info/.

i'm having a hard time deciding which route to take to bypass orlando traffic

should I stay on 417 the whole way to S Apopka Vineland SR535n then to hotel plaza blvd
or
from 417 take 528 then get back on I4 for about 3 miles to where I need to turn off (to SSR)

what do you experts think and is there a difference in the # of toll booths if 3 did one over the other?

I personally would avoid the potential for I-4 traffic and stay on the 417. It may be a little further distance wise, but I think you'll make it up on time because of lack of traffic....

Unless you want to risk sitting in traffic for an extended period, use 417 all the way to SR 535.
