BYO alcohol to pool?

We are driving and would like to bring our own wine coolers to save some $$$ while we're at the hotel. Are we allowed to take bottles to the pool or do I have to transfer to cups? Some places have rules about glass at pools - not sure if disney has this rule.

Alcohol is fine, but no glass containers allowed. However, you can pour it into a cup and bring it to the pool.

They definitely have this rule. If you take anything out of your room, you will need to transfer it into a non-glass container.

We save our bottled water containers and transfer our booze to them, for the pool....alcohol, wine....

Greetings! Glad to see that my theory of "no glass at the pool" is indeed what is in place at WDW.

We are staying at CBR in late September and had planned on transferring my wine to a plastic cup in order to bring it to the village pool.

My question is for DH's canned beer - I was packing a coozie holder (nothing that advertises "beer" - just a nice scene from another part of Florida). Since the beer is already in cans, can we leave it as is in the coozie or is this considered a "no-no"...

Cans are ok! There is no policy against the logo of beer or anything like that.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone tried that! LOL

I've seen some pretty major setups over the years. Last summer at Stormalong Bay a group of people sitting at a table near our chairs had vodka, rum, tequila, etc, all poured into individually labeled plastic bottles with assorted mixers, plus at least 3 coolers of beer. It was their own private pool party!
