Bye Bye Stitch Supersonic Celebration!

my gosh, and i thought CMs complained too much.

i honestly don't think it gets much attention just because its way out of the way. everything else is on Main Street U.S.A. where the heart of MK is. It's in Tomorrowland where the two most popular attractions are getting refurbed, its literally DEAD over in that area...what do you expect?

I just saw the show today and I thought it was cute and different. It was entertaining, just like any other show. Each show is different too, I know I laughed and had fun with it, and I know my boyfriend liked it too.

I feel like I can relate the show to BPB. Except BPB does better since its a parade and only shows ONCE a day. You got the dancing, and the covered music in both Stitch SuperSonic and BPB. If you want to diss any other shows or anything, you might as well diss Move it! Shake it! Celebrate it! for covering songs too. And all of them are interactive...so why doesn't everyone hate those shows? oh, because they run down the middle of either MK or DHS depending on the parade and thats where most of the people are, since you know, its where you first walk in.

I just don't get why Disney doesn't realize that people have had it with Stitch. For a mediocre movie that doesn't rank with any of the Disney classics, they've come up with one of the most disliked MK attractions, now added another disaster, toilet-papered the castle, changed the monorail spiel, modified Downtown Disney (remember the broken down van) and created a character meal ('Ohana breakfast). And for what? Nothing!

I am a huge Stitch fan and I haven't seen this show still but now I should before it closes because it's Stitch.

I feel bad for Stitch because so many people are saying they're tired of him. He is EXTREMELY popular in Japan, he even had his own parade (featuring Lilo and the other experiments). They have so much Stitch merchandise over there it's crazy, plus the new cartoon/anime. I don't know how he got such a huge fanbase there but they should use that strategy over here.

First off, I too am sick of Stitch right now. Anyhow, just from reading this thread, it appears that there are many die-hard stitch fans and many people who are sick of stitch. What I am confused about is why Disney tried to make a show about this character in the same immediate area as Stitch's Great Escape. With Space Mountain and TTA down, Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland is pretty much dominated by Stitch.

Apparently, the Stitch merchandise sales are crazy, but how much is this show going to increase sales? Also, I'm pretty sure that Disney is trying to appeal to the broad audiences, so why would they keep beating Stitch to death if a wide array of people don't like him/her/it.

A WALL-E themed show would be a much, much better fit.

How about something with Phineas and Ferb? They really need to do some stuff with NEW characters, not Stitch. He is not the headliner figure they are trying to make him into. And why are they trying so hard? That movie is old!

I agree completely. Not Disneys best film by any stretch of the imagination but the blue guy seems to be taking over the World
