Going down to the world in late Jan. I'm staying offsite 3 nights, then 4 nights at BWV in a 1bdr boarwalk view (YAY!! I was preferred view, waitlisted for boardwalk view and it just came through TODAY!!!!) and I've never stayed there before. Any tips or suggestions from you who have??? Thanks in advance!!

are you going with family, kids? etc.

so much to do in the boardwalk area.

If you have kids stroll across to Y&B club and eat at Beaches and Cream.
Great burger place, fun atmosphere.

For nice steak dinner, we like the Yachtsman steakhouse in the Yacht Club.

Plenty to do at the boardwalk check out the comunity hall lots of activitys for kids free vidio games DVD for use at your villa air hockey plus organized activitys

The BW views are awesome! If the timing's right, you can see a peek of "Wishes" as well as Illuminations. Some people say that the higher up you are, the quieter it is (you can get noise from the Boardwalk). However, I've found, having stayed there 3 times, that the further away from the elevators you are, the further down the BW you are, and there's the quiter area. However, DS prefers to see more from being up near the elevators. One time, we were way down by "Crest of the Wave" and though it was really quiet, we couldn't see as much of the goings on. But that view is great!

Not sure if you or anyone you're going with is interested in NFL football, but ESPN on the Boardwalk is AWESOME to watch games. We scheduled our trip in January and September knowing that it would be football season and looked forward to going there to watch games. It's also good that we are Pat's fans as they were playing both times we were there.
