I did not mean to imply that we did not have a good time or did not enjoy our vacation, we did! My main point was that this was our first experience with DVC and BWV and we were quite disappointed with the level and quality of service. We have stayed at a great number of properties from GF to PO and they all out performed the BWV in the area of service.
The one experience that was above and beyond on this trip was the CM from maintenance who went out of his way to repair our stroller when the clip that held the wheel came off, this is the type of service Disney is famous for.
Don't change plans based on our experience, this is a beautiful, convenient property in need of some "tweeking". :bounce: :Pinkbounc
 
Like to Dis, I did not mean to imply in any way that you did not have a good time. The concerns you had were perfectly valid and I would not be happy if they happened to me. I only meant that it was refreshing to hear that sometimes things go smoothly, just the way they should.
 
We stayed at the BWV this past Feb. and the room was in excellent shape! We really loved the BWV.
 

First, I would never waste my time sitting in the lobby waiting for a room. We put our luggage with bell services, and go about our business . we usually dress casual and have our swimsuits in a carryall. .they give you a number to call to check on the room ...use it. Housekeeping can be slow and people can really make a mess of a room...no telling how long it takes to clean up after somepeople. The valet would have been reported to manage ment and a letter sent with his name to Disney.

Just returned from 5 nights at the BW. We were in room 4037, a grand villa, and it was awesome:D For the most part the CM's were great and the room was in great shape. I'll post my trip report over the weekend, will have more information. I would return tomorrow if possible.

Were you guys at the same BWV that we were at the week of June 6 thru June 11???? All CMs we encountered were the best - we were welcomed home more times than we could count!!!!Our room was perfect - dishwashers were being replaced in other rooms on our floor, but we saw few workers and heard none!! Every worker and CM we ran into in our hallway said Good Morning very pleasantly. There was a small amount of spackling and paint touching up being done near the elevators and once again they bothered no one. Valets and bellmen were quick and courteous, and front desk personnel were knowledgeable and personable. Just makes me wonder if we were at the same resort as you folks who had problems!!!!!!

This in no way means that I'm not sorry you had trouble and hope you still managed to have a great time!!!!!:wave:
