We're DVC members, planning a 3 night anniversary trip this Sept/Oct without DD. We're debating between using our points for a BWV studio (love the location) to be close to Epcot, or to try the Poly (never stayed, but love the restuarants and monorail option) using an AP discount, if available. We'll need to borrow points for the BWV stay, so once we do it, we can't back out. We have tickets for the Halloween party and also plan to spend time in Epcot fo the food and wine festival. What would you recommend?

Well, we are Poly people  being on the monorail and in the middle of Disney, so to speak, is just magical to us. If you are going to the MK and Epcot it can't be beat, just hop on the monorial for either park. If you haven't stayed there, give it a try.

I normally would say Boradwalk and make it a 1 bedroom. That jacuzzi is awfully nice on a trip without the kids.

That being said, since you are borrowing points (and thus using a Studio), I would probably say go for the Poly. Besides, I have a strong feeling that you might not have any options at BWV for that week. I'm assuming you are talking the first week of the Food & Wine Fest. I would be surprised if there are any Studios available. You are inside the 7 month window.

Thank you for your responses so far! Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?
