BWV vs. BCV studios

I'm looking for some opinions as I try to plan out our 2nd trip to WDW. Our first trip was in May. We stayed at WL and really loved it, especially how peaceful it was--a nice break from the parks.
I'm tentatively thinking of the 1st week of Feb. for our next trip. We found that we really spent most of our time at MGM and EPCOT, so I'm looking into options near those parks.

It's just my DH, DS (age 6) and myself, so a studio would be fine. I realized that if I can rent points, a studio for a week would be less than a standard room at WL, once you factor in taxes. SO! My question is: is one property (Boardwalk vs. Beach Club) more peaceful than the other? What does the standard view at BWV look out on? Also, at that time of year, would SAB, etc. be too cold? Of course, we may be just as well looking for something at WLV, but I thought we might give the EPCOT/MGM area a try.

Any and all opinions are welcome! (p.s. my husband is prone to migraines, so the peacefulness of the resort is important!)

Thanks!

I have never actually stayed at either resort (will be staying at BCV in Dec), but I do know that the Boardwalk area is quite a bit louder in general than the BC area. I also know the BCV are set back further away from hustle and bustle and have a lot of trees and peace and quiet. Also, starting this summer, guests at BWV will not be allowed to pool hop over to SAB, which is heated. BCV guests will be able to use SAB and as long as capacity is not reached, all other DVC resort pools. Disney has officialy taken SAB off the pool hopping list of the other hotel properties so you will only be allowed to use SAB if you are actually at the BCV if this makes a difference to you. Hope this helps!

Thanks very much for the input...didn't realize for some reason that BWV guests couldn't use SAB. I think I'm leaning a bit towards BCV, but wonder if there'd be any availability in Feb. Well, planning can be half the fun!
Thanks again!

The person I am renting points from has some ressies already made at both BWV and BCV in February. Email if you are interested in renting them I'll give you his info!

Think BCV members and guests have the same right to use SAB as any BC or YC guest.
