This was our 1st trip to WDW in July and we were a bit worried about the crowds. We checked into our 2br Villa at the BWV on Sunday, July 9th and the room was ready right away but we had reservations for the Hoop De Doo for the early show. The Bell Hop was fantastic, he took our bags and our groceries (placing them in their fridge) and took our names and called the Hoop De Doo for us telling them we were running late and to keep our table. Upon our arrival at the Hall in Fort Wilderness the people there told us they were expecting us since our Bell Hop called. (WOW!). After the Hoop De Doo we went back to our 2br and called down to get our bags. They had them up in no time. The room was in perfect order and had a nice view of the Luna Park Pool and we could see the Rockets from the Fantasmic show at night.
The next day we were at MK and found the crowds pretty manageable, about the same as Jersey week in October. We had breakfast at the Crystal Palace and loved it. It did rain that day but for only a short time. We had dinner at Tony's in MK and I loved it, a really nice treat! We really loved the new additions to the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride, way too cool.
Being at the BWV placed us right in the middle of things and there was plenty to do. We rented the 4-person bike and rode past the Yacht and Beach Club, which was fun. The Bus service was a bit sluggish since it also served the Swan and Dolphin and the Yacht and Beach Club but all in all we didn't wait any longer than normal for a bus at the BWV but the seating was tough. We also ate at the ESPN and had some drinks at the hotel bar in the Board Walk that was really relaxing. The Pina Colava with the Raspberry flavor was truly refreshing.
We did all the parks and Blizzard Beach, we all decided my DW, DS15 and DD9 that Typhoon Lagoon was more our speed with the wave pool and the tropical theme. This was a great trip and we had a great time. The Cast Members at the BWV were all fantastic and we are counting our days until we return. I will be making my reservations for SSR for next July by the end of this month and I hope to change them into the BCV at the 7-month window.
Well, that is it for now. Each time I go to WDW it only furthers my love for it and confirms my DVC membership that much more.
