My biggest takeaway on this was not being able to wander at will into Epcot.But..on the positive side, you did get away for nine days! We always bring coffee with us. If I have to hunt for it, I become mean!
I thought the world showcase boats in Epcot were running... didn't go on them though...so I'm not positive...but I did find an article online from July showing the social distancing markers on the boats and saying it was running then. The Epcot/HS resort boats were not running while we were there (7/25-8/8.)
Coffeemakers are the 12 cup basket type...so bring basket filters and your favorite ground coffee. They do give you a starter supply of Joffreys filter bag coffee...I think we had 2 reg and 2 decaf, and they gave us more on day 4. They also had sugar and liquid coffeemates in the room
Since they have the drip Mr Coffee pots in the villas, I just bring my Folger's and filters. We also have a one cup Keurig for rooms without coffee pots, and then just bring that and K-cups (Green Mountain).
Is it as good as Mr Softee (the reason I could never leave the NEYes, hope that they open something good. Our fav off property ice cream is Twistee Treat, they have one in Kissimmee on rt 192 and one that isn't that far from Disney Springs...Gotta love it..Soft serve sundaes, cones, GREAT toppings, try the cookie dough wow! Better than Carvel up north! SOOOOO good and prices are great..drive through also!
