BWV studios with daybed accom. 5?

Yes. It's true. We stayed in one a couple of years ago. The day bed is small, but my daughter slept on it without a problem.

Sort of, there are a few issues.

The studio pluses are not a reservation category, merely a request. So you can't be sure you can get one.

The "daybed" is more of a deacon's bench - a small child might be able to sleep there, a larger child probably not. It has a fairly thin pad on it. When most of us think of daybed, we think of the twin sized daybeds in Deluxe resorts, this is nothing like that.

Someone has a great picture of an adult sitting on the "daybed" where you get a really good idea of how practical it is to sleep on.

(ETA - there is no way that deacon's bench is five feet - which is what it says in your link. My 4' 6" son wouldn't fit.)

Thanks for your replies. Small wouldnt be a problem as my kids are 11, 6 & 3. So one of the little uns could get the bed.

It's the size of a crib. And it's not guaranteed. And MS is really not supposed to book five in a studio. Since your youngest is three, he/she counts towards room occupancy.

I've had the same studio two times now....it had that extra 'bed'. Now, I would sit on it to put my shoes on or such. There was maybe room for me and my then 10 y/o dd to sit very close together on it. And, it has a pad, not a mattress on top of it. We used it to hold our purchases. Not sure how comfy it would be to sleep.
Besides...I don't believe you can request one..it's the luck of the draw. And if you don't have a child in a pack and play, I'm not sure you can get a studio.

MS used to book 5 in studios at the BWV. However, they no longer do so if one of the 5 is 3 or older.

FWIW, that bench is HARD! And quite narrow. I predict most chilren who start out the night on the bench will end up elsewhere. ;)

We had the bench/bed at BWV (4 of us). My DD (45 inches tall, 40 lbs) wanted to sleep on it b/c it looked cute--I would not let her--she slept on the pull-out.

Here's a pic I have of the "daybed" at BWV:

I don't have one of someone sitting there, but the backpack and Tramp should give you an idea. :)

:rotfl: He was orphaned at the International Gateway shop in Epcot, I had no choice but to rescue him and take him home! To the poor guy on the balcony below us- I apologize for the unexpected shower you got, Tramp wasn't quite potty trained yet. :rotfl2:
