I just wanted to beg everyone on this board to please report problems that you may encounter at the resort that you are staying at. This studio that we had was terrible! The handle to turn the water on in the shower fell off, there was mold in the shower and the sink, the cabinent under the bathroom sink was tore off, and there were blak marks all over the walls and ceilings that looked like someone had bounced a ball all over the room. Also the smoke detector went off at 4:30am! We would told it must have malfunctioned and no apology was offered. When we checked out I provided a list of items that were not taken care of before we left. Hopefully they will take care of it.

I have always loved the BW and it is our home resort. But I have a bad experience now and am debating about trying to change our October ressies. I know that there are many rooms in good condition but I also noticed other things around the resort that frustrated me. For example, on the BW side the china cabinet had broken and missing pieces. Why would some steal them and why wouldn't Disney either replace or remove the cabinet? Maybe it just happened. The clown slide had a huge, terrible, rust stain on it that I hadn't noticed before. All of this after our cabin on board the Wonder had flooded really left me frustrated on vacation!

Maybe I am just picky!

Thanks for listening!

You don't sound picky to me, your complaints are quite reasonable. But room issues are going to happen anywhere and I don't think any resort can guarantee a problem-free stay. At my home resort (VWL ) the washing machine motor burned out one evening and filled our entire unit with smoke. Oddly enough, the smoke alarm didn't go off, which makes me wonder. Hmmm... Also on that trip, the sliding door to the balcony wouldn't lock and the safe key was missing. So I can relate to what you're saying.

The CMs were pretty good about taking care of the problems quickly and efficiently, and I still look forward to staying at VWL.

Anyway, we've had many great stays at VWL prior to and after the motor incident. Even that stay was still pretty good, but I'm just trying to point out that things happen. Don't let one less than magical experience get you down.

Have a great next trip.

I noticed the china in the cabinet ripped off when I was visiting there 2 weeks ago (boardwalk level on the BWI side). I thought that was odd too, looked pretty unsightly.

Sorry to hear this. How many nights did you stay? Did you ask for a room change?

Your cabin flooded?! I've been pondering upon the idea of a cruise. Do tell more about this!

We stayed for 2 nights and did not get another room.

On the cruise we complained about a terrible smell in the bathroom. It was covered up with air freshner even though we insisted that something was wrong. The next morning when we got up the drains in the floor were overflowing with some stinky, smelly, stuff. It took all morning for the maintenance guy to fix the problem. It did not ruin our trip though. You should go!
