BWV std studio @ 7months -any chance?

Is a standard studio very hard to get at the 7 month mark for BWV? It would be for one night only (a Wednesday) in mid-August (next year). Just wondering if those of you who are experienced think this is a long-shot or if I might have a decent chance. Thanks in advance for your help!

I've gotten a standard view studio a few times at 7 months or less. Right now I'm booked into a standard view studio for next month for 2 nights midweek. I wanted BCV, which wasn't available, but BWV standard view studio was. And once I got a standard view studio for December at exactly 7 months. I also got one night in late August in a BWV standard view studio at about 5 months out one year. Again, that was a time when BCV wasn't available, but a standard view studio at BWV was. But that's just been my experience, that BCV is harder to book than a standard view BWV studio.

I was able to book a standard view 2 bedroom for late August at 5 months out as well.

I think its a good time of year to try, but I suspect it gets more difficult each year.

Picked up 4 nights in a standard view studio for end of January, beginning February at 7 months out. No problem. Even called a on the check out date, and it was a piece of cake.

We just reserved a standard BWV studio for early January.
< 5 months out. However, it was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

We were conserving points, but DH almost flipped when they said, "We only have Monday night available with a Boardwalk View."

When the CM asked if he wanted to waitlist for the standard view, you should have seen his face. He just said, OMG NO!

Hubby is totally fine ending his trip with a beautiful Boardwalk View instead of losing or donating 3 points.

I was able to book 9/5-9/9 of this year in a BWV Standard Studio at the 4 month mark.

Last year, stayed at the BWV and wanted Boardwalk view for August 2-5 and got it with 2 weeks on the waitlist...booked that one at 3 months out.

I'm a BWV owner and to me forget the standard views, I perfer the boardwalk views. They are the best views in DISNEY IMHO. Worth the extra points to me.

I agree. Before there was a boardwalk view guarantee, I booked preferred view at 11 months and got quiet pool. After that I booked standard view so I could save points and didn't have to gamble on getting BW view. Once BW view was guaranteed, I've booked it everytime.
