BWV, standard view - what do you see?

I've never stayed at BWV - or seen much of their grounds (as I have with all the other WDW DVC resorts) . . . and am planning a trip to BWV in 2009. If you'd like to share your descriptions (or even show photos) of what "standard view" rooms face, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

We have stayed in the standard view rooms several times. All of the times our view has been of the entrance drive that leads up to the main entrance of the Boardwalk. I enjoy sitting out on the balcony watching the buses and the people coming and going.

Our standard views have been just like the pictures above - they're really quite nice and usually quieter than the pool or Boardwalk views. We actually prefer the standard views to the "preferred" views.

You should be aware that SV is usually much harder to book than preferred view (other than Boardwalk View). At certain times or the year, many members have to book a pool view and then waitlist for the SV. Best of luck -- Suzanne

there is also the back entrance - there is a stream - so you can get some water plus it is a whole lot easier to get to your car or the buses from that back entrance.

Our room was the third up from the left of the bus stop. Not an exciting view, but very close to the elevators.

I might add that you have a wonder view of Illuminations from the standard view rooms.

We have three 2BR villas, two were standard view (5073-5, and 5077-9) that have a view of the front driveway and entrance area. The other room is 5068-70) that is a preferred handicapped accessible room. Member services was great about getting us rooms close together.
