BWV Standard View Availability in Sept?

What do you think our chances are? We own at OKW but I have used all of my 2006 points anyhow...so I would need to have points transferred to me. Is this a hard time of year to get a Standard View 1BR villa?

You should have no problem, it's probably one of the easiest times to get.

I wouldn't say "no problem", but September (except around the Labor Day holiday) is one of the easiest times to book at the 7 month window. IMHO, your chances of getting a standard view are better in September than in most other months of the year, but it's not a "slam-dunk".

If you're looking for a BWV Std View Studio, it might even be a little tougher yet. They tend to go a little quicker due to the low point requirement (9 pts/night weekdays) and are popular with those who really want to stretch points.

No one knows for sure since the SSR sales are still going on. Past history of making reservations at the 7-month window is definitely not an indication of what it will be like in the future. When there were only 40,000 members, the number of non-BWV owners booking at 7-months was one thing, but with DVC now at 90,000 plus, and probably will hit 100,000, the competition for those low point BWV Standard views at 7-months will get tougher.
