BWV sleeping logistics -- need help

We're leaving next month for a long WDW trip, which includes spending some with invited family guests in a 2 br lockoff at BWV. For this trip, we offered them the studio portion for their stay. They have an infant and a 5 yr old.

I figured the 5 yr old nephew will take the sleeper-sofa, and they have rented a crib from ABBF for their stay for the baby -- my question now is, will there be room for the crib? I cannot gage room depth from the pics -- I know pics of VWL make it seem small, yet our 2nd br there seemed HUGE when I was actually in it. I distinctly recall thinking that there was, for example, a wealth of room large enough for a crib even in the walk-in closet! How does a lock-off studio at BWV compare -- where would you suggest putting the crib? Anyone who has done this (esp. with a full-sized crib, although if you could recall the grace margins between the pack-n-play or similar travel-sized crib and the surrounding walls / furniture, that would be helpful too, I suppose!)

THANKS!

We haven't been in a BWV 2BR lockoff (yet), but it seems that there should be plenty of room by the door to the corridor, wouldn't there?

I know in the 2BR dedicated there is a huge area that would work. I've got to think that the lock-off would have a similar amount of area to put a crib.

We stayed at BW in a studio with a full size crib from ABBF last Dec. What we did was we moved the round tabe closer to the TV armoire and put the crib right next to the wall/deck door. When the couch was pulled out, it fit, barely, but it did fit. Granted, you couldn't get out to the deck after that, but we were so exhausted every night that it didn't matter.

Trying to think here... you could probably put a crib at the foot of the sofa when it's folded out, or against the wall by the armoire (sp? the thing that holds the TV). I *think* there's a good bit of space by the entrance door, too.

Short version: No problem.

I think I would just let the 5-year-old sleep on the sofa without pulling it out. Just put a sheet right on top and fold it over, then cover him with a blanket. (Of course, this is if he's not prone to falling out of bed at night!) Then there should be plenty of room!

I agree with Granny, there should be space leading to the main entrance. If you have a 2BR you could use the entrance to the 1 BR side and keep the other door locked.

Granny, the BWV doesn't have any dedicated 2 BR, you must be thinking of BCV or VWL.

Yes Bill, I was thinking of the dedicated 2BR at VWL. Not sure why I threw that in there since it is irrelevant to this thread!

And what you indicated about using the 1BR entrance door is exactly what I figured would make the entryway of the studio a good place for the crib...though a bit removed from the beds.
