Just unpacked the last suitcase from our OKW trip and already planning our Jan 12 trip:goodvibes . I swear thats the only way to combat my Post-disney depression-planning our next trip. Anyway, our waitlist ALREADY came thru for a 2 BD Boardwalk view. We had Kidani originally, which we adore, but just found out last nt we got BWV!! So, when was the last rehab of these rooms? Read a few reviews saying there was alot of age starting to show, so instead of reading more, I figured Id come back here and get the truth!! Any 2 bed pics? Thanks!

BWV renovations were completed about 2 years ago. No way would I consider them to be in poor condition. Allears has photos of all Disney resorts. Here is a link to BWV (check out studio 5015 and 1 bedroom 5017 to get a 2 bedroom with the rehabbed furnishings):

I agree with the previous poster the 2nd boardwalk view room we had last October was in great shape

You know all the BWV two bedroom villas are lockoffs, right?

I know they are all lockoffs...That actually is a downside for me, but my DH actually was happy about that. We are bringing my bro and my sis in law and our niece and nephew who are both under 4-naps will be a must and this way they can close the door and have their own mini fridge, balcony, etc.. I just wished they had two beds already set up instead of pull out. But hey, its freaking BWV!!! Thanks for the link, too:goodvibes . :goodvibesnow, where do I request a room, boardwalk view? Or does it even really matter?

You can call member services and add any requests. Or e-mail them. Most of the 2 bedrooms are at the end over the restaurant or near Jellyrolls. I would request top floor for a better view & more quiet.

With two under four, I'd actually request close to the elevators and a low floor. Its likely you'll have strollers, and BWV has long hallways.

For people able to take the steps, getting a two bedroom high up at the end of the hall gives you nicer views. With little kids, being close to the elevators would be my priority. And if you have ONE flight of steps, four adults can get two small kids and two strollers down a single flight.

We were on the 5th floor with a stroller. We requested high up and close to the elevator. The 5th floor only takes half the building. We rolled right onto the elevator and down the hall. One time (to go to DHS) we left it folded and walked down the stairs.

Consider your needs, but close to the elevator does not have to be one. I prefer high up.

But if the 2 BRs are close to Jellyrolls, they aren't that far from the elevator anyway.
