BWV room request for S & D conference

I thought that i had asked this before, but i couldn't find the thread. Anyways, so i am super excited that i was able to book a BWV studio for a conference that i will be attending in April. Couple questions:

When are you able to make room requests (I can't remember )? Just want to mark my calendar so i don't forget. I am sure i will get an email, but if it isn't in my calendar i tend to over look things

What room requests should i make in order to be in the section closest for the shortest walk to the S & D?

I did try and google it and it looks as though it would be a 10 minute walk or so from the far left of the resort. (If i was looking at the map correctly)

Any suggestions or input is appreciated!!

Call MS and tell them you want to be close to the S&D, ground floor, for easy walking.

Just request to be in the end by Swan/Dolphin or at the end above Jelly Rolls. There is a staircase there if everyone is ambulatory so it makes it an easy in and out. If anyone can't do stairs then you'll want to request ground floor at that end or else closer to the elevators.

BWV does have longish hallways and it gets a little amusing walking down there from the lobby though!

Which view do you have? Standard view would be farther. Pool/garden or Boardwalk view could get you closer.

Agreeing with above -- especially as you have the pool/garden view: Ask for a room located at the far end of BWV near Jelly Rolls. Either ground floor, or at least a lower floor, will either eliminate or reduce stair climbing. (Or, if counting steps is an important part of your day -- skip the request for lower floors, take a gamble and be excited to climb 5 flights of stairs on each return to your room. Been there, done that!)

There is a stairway and door at the far end of the BWV hallway, closest to Jelly Rolls. The door is on the backside of the BWV building, facing the Swan. We love that door for easy walking access to S/D!

With pool/garden view, and as long as you can do stairs, you can request as stated above or request a room in the Activity Lawn area (where there is in fact no activity -- way back when BWV was invented, they did have some daily activities there) which is the pool/garden view area referred to above where the hallway leading to Jellyroills ends, and it would provide the shortest possible walk to S/D over a bridge.
