BWV resale at $70/pt - passed ROFR!!

I still can't believe that this went through, but we got the calls yesterday that Disney waived ROFR! We bought 170 points at $70/pt at BWV, owner is paying maintenance for 2004 and 2005. March use year, no points available until March 2006, can borrow in March 2005 if we want. We already own 210 points at OKW, and that's enough for us for now - but we had our 3rd "add-on" last June, and once he turns 3 we needed the extra points for the 2 BR. Still can't believe it passed - probably did because our basement flooded with Ivan remnants and we really needed the money for the remodeling! Oh well.....we can pay the basement off over time I guess! Just wanted to share the promising news here for those still waiting!

Seems like a fair price for a contract that's stripped to 2006.

They sent the offer to Disney just about a week ago - so the word came back much sooner than we thought! Good luck with your contract!

The only downside is that we may have to start driving down - at least for one of the trips per year - because flights plus rental car for 5 gets very expensive! We stayed at BWV last Sept and got a 5th floor BW side with a fantastic view of the EPCOT globe - it was an amazing 2 BR and really hooked us for the BWVs! We love OKW as well, so we feel very lucky. Thanks again for the good wishes!

Our thoughts are with all the Floridians again with Jeanne - enough is enough!
