BWV rehab update

I walked the hallways today. 4th and 5th floor appear to be finished. The standard view wing is only finished on 4th floor. In the graphic below, the green standard rooms and the preferred rooms across the hallway from them on 1st, second and third floors are not done. So if you have a standard view room booked, ask for 4th floor. If you have preferred, you will have a pretty good chance except for the wing across from standard. If you have BW view booked, you should be safe. It is hard to believe that all of this will be done by Jan. 1.

hmmm....we have a 2 bedroom preferred view next week. I wonder if we can request something other than "renovated room". Not sure they'd honor that kind of request.

Ask for 4th or 5th floor. You may not get it, but worth a try.

We were there for Thanksgiving wk (3 families) room #3062 BWV PF was rehabbed it overlooked the village green...#3072-74 PF ...NO rehab......#4024 PF...NO rehab.....we had a great time!

We're in 4004 and 4006 and it's a looooonnnnngggg walk to the elevator, get refillable mug, entrance to the Boardwalk. Nice view of the Swan, canal and Tower of Terror. Room is refurbushed

I just booked a studio at the BWV for mid-January. This will actually be our first stay at BWV (although we've stay dozens of times at SSR, BCV and almost every other resort). We are AP holders and frequent WDW visitors and hang out at the BW area almost every trip. (and we love the BW restaurants too).

SO, any suggestions on room location? I know it's tough because there aren't a lot of studios but I'm just trying to avoid the dumpster view and the noisey areas if at all possible. I don't mind if our room is a long walk to the BW area, that's ok. (and of course I know requests aren't guaranteed but I always make them anyway and most of the time they are honored) Thanks!

Boardwalk view and some of the standard views.

I'm at BWV now, we noticed the 2nd floor standard view wing is blocked off next to the elevator.

Spent last week in 4105/4107. Standard view looking at the entrance drive. Fully renovated with flat screens. While we were at the pool we saw the 1st floor rooms looking at the pool being renovated.

I just posted on the other thread but we just returned last night. The 1st floor quiet side pool was not remodeled. But they are working fevorishly....yesterday they were dismantling multiple rooms and carrying them out piece by piece out the service door by our room.
