BWV rehab status?

We have a reservation to stay at BWV in May and I heard that BWV is going thru a rehab currently.

I would appreciate any info on how it's going, when it will be done and which areas are affected.

Well, it's been going on for about the last 18months almost 2 yrs...it looks when we were there in March that it was almost all done. but not sure if it will be finished by May...Even when it was at its most obvious it never bothered our family....

At the last annual meeting (12/02), the BW General Manager said that the BWV rehab project was scheduled to complete in September, 2003. He also said that they were hoping to get it expedited a little and completed in August.

I expect that they will be working on the standard view rooms this summer. Everything else is finished or nearly finished. Maybe someone who has just returned will tell us where the scaffolding is right now.

I doubt any of the work will impair your visit. It certainly didn't hurt ours. Enjoy!

Just returned on 4/4. All of the standard view rooms are being worked on, as well as a small section of rooms on the Boardwalk. Didn't bother us. As a matter of fact, we ended up with preferred view even though we had confirmed standard view.
