BWV Refurbishment?

BWI rooms were recently refurbished. Were BWV rooms refurbed as well?

No, they have not been recently refurbished. It was reported that some refurbishments may be coming in 2009. DVC resorts usually do not have complete refurbishments like the non-DVC resorts because the cost comes from the member dues reserve fund. They usually do a few items at a time (paint, carpet, furniture). I don't believe any DVC room has been given a complete redecoration the way they do WDW resort rooms. They pretty much stay the same design.

Thanks - I saw pics of the flat screen tv's, new bedding and newly redecorated rooms at BWI and I was hopeful.

With the dues we pay at BW, you'd think flat screens would already be there! Those tv's are so antiquated. It's one thing I'd really like to see.

JMHO, other than that I love BW more than any other location

We stayed there back in May, and they were painting the woodwork in the hallways then. Our 1BR was definitely in need of some love though, it looked very tired, especially compared to the AKV room we had stayed in the previous week...
