BWV refurb?

What exactly do they do in a refurb? Just curious as I have read that BWV will be getting a refurb beginning this May, and we are scheduled to stay here for Memorial Day week. Is it to the point where guests would be bothered by the noise? Lots of maintenance people? Areas of the hotel shut down?

Just curious how this would impact our stay, if at all?

This has me curious also. I'll be at BWV in August and December (both 1BR Boardwalk View), so I'm curious to see how much of the refurbishment will be completed by then.

Does anyone know what will be done with the rehab (new appliances, etc.)?
