We're staying in a studio for first time....(always did 1 or 2 bedroom before).

Are there facilities to do laundry for DVC members and if so, is there a charge?

Yes, there are free laundry facilities available for studio guests. You do need to bring/purchase your own detergent and softening agent though.

The laundry room is on the first (ground) floor very near to the elevators. Turn to your right when you get off the elevator and you will quickly spot the laundry room.
