BWV question

Friends of ours that just purchased DVC wanted to pay for their weekend days with cash and someone told them they cannot do this with a standard view room at BWV. Is this true? I'm hoping if anyone knows it will be someone here at the Dis.

That is correct. Some room categories are not available for cash reservations - including BWV standard view and BWV BV view. Only the preferred view - non-BW view is available for cash through MS or DRC.
