BWV Preferred/Garden view question

We will be staying in a 1br preferred/garden view in October for 4 nights. What is the best location to try and request? Is there a section that you can actually see the boardwalk from the balcony or is there somewhere else that is better? Any help would be appreciated.

The rooms facing the Village Green can see parts of the BW and are pool/garden view but these rooms are all studios, no 1 bedrooms. (The rooms ending in -051 actually are on the Village Green but are assigned as BW view category.)
You might like a view of the main pool, the quiet pool or the canal to DHS, depending on your personal taste. Or you might want "close to elevator."
