Bwv- pool/garden studio. What should I request, or try to avoid?

Hi all. Just booked a stay for bwv studio. First time at bw. Can you advise which requests I should put in? Would have loved to have a bw view, but none were available. We have a garden/ pool view. Also, what is with the 'critters' I have heard about?

Ask to overlook the Village Green - this area is made up of dedicated studios and has a partial view of the Boardwalk.

I agree. Request Village Green and you might even see a bit of the BW.

I usually get a boardwalk view but due to a late date change, I ended up with pool/garden. I requested Village Green view and also top floor. I got top floor pool view. I asked if any Village Green was available, they said no. But turned out I really liked it. It was only 4 doors from the elevators, a nice change from the long hikes of the boardwalk views. There are a lot of studios on both sides of the hall in the first section, so if your Village Green doesn't come through, ask about close to elevator or top floor. Also had a view of some fireworks at DHS.

We really enjoyed a stay overlooking the quiet pool. Very nice setting with the view of the pool, the canal and Tower of Terror just across the way. If we had this view category again, we'd request quiet pool area.

Request high floor, and that includes if you request the Village Green area since there are studios on the second floor of that area that have essentailly no view because they are under the arches of the buidling that are over Wyland Galeries.
