Does Disney sell resale? We bought our contract with the plan to go every other year in a 1BR while the kids still want to go. Once we can go on adult only trips we will be able to go yearly. So yes, yearly trips would most likely make DVC a good purchase via resale. You really need to work the numbers and determine if you will still plan on going there every year. Paying cash for the contract is where you have the biggest savings
Disney does not sell resale contracts. there are a number of resale companies. Just google dvc resale and you should come up with the top ones. I personally used timeshare store and was very happy with the process of purchasing with them. There is a lot to learn about DVC and how it works for you so do read up on as much as you can.Does Disney sell resale?
Thank you! This is very helpful. I am much too neurotic not to do all the homework first.https://www.disboards.com/threads/dvc-resource-center.3516203/ this is the link to the thread on the purchase forum which covers a lot of the intricate details about DVC. Start here and ask lots of questions on this board. There is a wealth of knowledge re: process of buying resale to the actual use of your contract
Does Disney sell resale?
Ok. Thank you. I don't know if I can get DH on board with any purchase. It is just research and comparison shopping for now.Direct for BWV from Disney is $165/point.
Resale for a 150-point contract is likely to end up $95-105.
Now, if you are wealthy enough that $60-70 per point on a 150-point contract is a rounding error for you, I'd still recommend buying resale and sinking the difference into tax-deductible charitable giving after a chat with your advisor.![]()
It's not wrong, but length of contract is just one consideration.I would love to buy beach club or boardwalk but the 2042 expiration date scared me off. Am I right wanting more than 25 years for the amount I'm going to pay?
