People ask how fast these things book. I just booked 8/21/2016-8/24 in a GV and got the last one. End of August is NOT DVC high season and I'm just a few days into the eleven month window.

There aren't many BWV Grand Villas - but they are point expensive when compared to a standard view two bedroom and standard view studio for the same capacity (which is still open as of when I made my reservation).

BWV GV's and the OKW GV in the Near Hospitality House booking category are rooms that often disappear during the 11 month window througout the year while other GVs can be found even at 7 months out much of the time between mid-Jan and late-Sep (e.g., all except BWV and the OKW HH GV are still available for a week beginning April 24, 2016 at 7 months from today, Sep 24, 2016), and the VGF GVs (of which there are also only 6) have been open at 7 months out a number of times during DVC's high demand season, late Sep to marathon weekend in Jan; the Poly Bungalows could follow a similar course to those VGF GV's because those also are priced so high that most members don't even want to try them for a stay. The high point cost of GVs may not have caused lack of use of them in the past but it appears with the creation of the uber-costly VGF GVs and Poly bungalows, a new age of probable low use has begun, that will probably contiune with the VWL cabins on the beach if those come in at point costs in the same range or higher than VGF and Poly. Before we know it Disney will have a new high profit center from being able to rent those VGF GVs, Poly bungalows and soon to be VWL cabins, while charging all those members who purchased to get studios at those resorts all the dues needed to cover all the maintenance, operations, and repair costs of those high priced units.
