BWV -Internet access?

Does BWV have internet Access? and if so, is it wireless?

Just returned yesterday and took advantage of the broadband access to post a webcam for several days last week! The access is wired, but we took a wireless router of our own and hooked it up. It took a little bit of setup, but worked fine. The hotel offers wireless for an additional fee in the lobby and convention areas, but not in the rooms. The broadband access was $9.95 for a full 24-hour period and is initiated from your web browser. Just connect the cable, boot up, launch the browser and a page comes up with your room information and a user agreement. Two clicks and you're in!

We did have some issues during the day with access being spotty and going up and down. We are guessing they are sharing bandwidth with the convention center, which is a bad idea for several reasons. We intend to mention this on our surveys. It wasn't a big enough deal while there, but something they should look into.

We used it this past week, too, and found it to be adequate. It was spotty during the day, as WDWguru mentioned. I hadn't thought about the convention thing, but that makes sense. It was the first time we'd traveled with the laptop, and it made some things easier. There were times that I wished we'd left the thing at home, though (like when I wanted DH to come to the pool instead of staying hooked up to the office, but I guess that really only happened once, to be fair!).
