I finally had enough points available and snagged a GV for the F&W fest next October. Now I'm wondering about requesting the 1 or 2 story unit. I've looked all over and can't find a floor plan for the 2 story unit. Is it like the SSR GV's or different? Thanks

I asked this same question a few weeks ago and no one has a 2 story floor plan. Someone did give me a description of the unit and the main thing that stuck in my mind was that only one of the upstairs bedrooms had a balcony. If you search back a few weeks you might be able to find it or maybe it will be posted again. I can't wait for our first trip in a BW Grand Villa. We will be there in May/June. If I get a 2 story I will post full details.

Go to the link and then navigate back to other resorts and they have the ssr 2 story floorplan. I would think its very similar to bwv. :wizard:

I thought about that but I'd like to make sure what the BWV 2 story plan looks like before making the request. It would also be nice to see some other pictures then what Sue has on her site which only shows the 1st floor door and some stairs.

I stayed in a BWV GV 2-story last May. Through the magic of Photoshop, I created this floorplan based on memory and photos. If anyone else who has stayed in this unit, feel free to correct me on anything I may have did wrong.

BTW, if you can't see it, the W/D is upstairs. There is no big laundry room like the 1-floor units.

No problem. It let me re-live the trip!

Thanks so much for the floorplan. Am I looking at this correctly, does one of the bedrooms have a balcony that overlooks downstairs? That seems kinda odd.
I think I would prefer the one level plan, but have decided to leave it up to fate and not make a request. I do not want to be disappointed if request is not met. I am just so happy to be staying in a GV at all.

Yes, although it is a pretty shallow balcony (not as deep as my plan would suggest) That first bedroom does not have an outside balcony, rather a set of french doors opposite the bed that open to over look the living room on a shallow balcony.

We requested the 1-floor, but got this one. We were intially slightly diappointed, but that quickly disappered as this unit was plenty of room and very comfortable for our group of 10. The high ceiling in the LR was nice too. The only thing that was a little but of a nuisance was the lack of storage space that the 1-floor would have in the laundry room (of which the upstairs laundry closet wasn't as user friendly either.
