BWV for late May after 7 month window?

How likely is it I would get BWV for late May if I were to call mid to late December?

I've gotten in at about 4-5 months out twice now (once studio and once 1 bedroom). Just curious, why not call next month?

I called in July for ressies in early November (F&W, Super Soap, & all those New Jerseyans in the park). I wanted OKW and could only get BWV. How weird is that? You might get them, but might have to waitlist as some schools will be out in late May and families will be starting vacations.

As PP asked, why wait?

I think as long as you don't want memorial day weekend you will be fine. I booked the beginning of May only 3 months out and was able to get a standard view 1 bedroom.

We will want Memorial weekend, I can't book at 7 months as friends we are with won't know if they can come til December and I may want to switch from AKV to BWV if it is just the two of us. Oh well at least AKV will be booked.

May is an easy time to get. Other than standard or BW view, you should have no trouble 5 months out getting something most years given the current situation. There's no guarantee this won't change but May is a low demand time for Orlando in general, almost as low as Sept.

Thanks for that Dean, shall wait and see how things go and as I said at least we will have AKV as a back up. The reason for the change to BWV may be because if our frineds pull out we will be able to go back early Dec and book AKV at the 11 month window and I fancied two different resorts
