We will be staying in a 1br @ the BWV's. During the first few days, it'll just be me, my spouse and our 5yr old. Later that week, my parents will be staying with us, so they will need the fold out bed in the living room. Am I better off bringing an aero bed for the 5yr old or does the hotel have something you can ask for?

I am in same dilemma as you. I was looking into the 1 bedroom at BW, but we have 5 adults and you can only get 1 king bed and sofa bed as far as I know. I asked CRO if you could get a roll-a-way and they said no due to Fire Code, and there are no 2 bedrooms available for the time I am going. I was really set on the Boardwalk area but I can't find anyway around the existing bedding issue. I wonder why they don't have the 2 queen bed/sofa bed option? CRO did say, that you could ask upon check in for a roll-a-way even though it is against their policy. But I would bring extra bedding just to be safe.

The occupancy limit for a 1 bedroom at BWV is 4, 5 if you have one under 3. This topic is fodder for debate on the debate board and the DVC board.

No rollaways are available at the BWV. I'm not going into the room occupancy issue. As far as why no 2 queens, because the king bed in the master BR is a mjor selling point to DVC buyers.

If you want a 2BR, why not look into the Beach Club Villas right next door, or get connecting rooms at the BWI.

BW does not provide any extra beds (except for cribs for kids under 3). The aero bed or a sleeping bag would be the choice.
