I'm renting points to stay at BWV. We'll arrive by about 1:00, and it's likely our room won't be ready. However, I'd like to take the kids swimming while we wait for the room. If I pack their swim clothes in my carry-on, is there someone I can have them change by the pool to swim? Also, what do we do for towels?

Thanks!

There are towels by the pool, plus there there should be a bathroom or some other place close by to change into your suits.

Have a great vacation.

Yes, there is bathroom to the right of the pool slide. Have a great time!

Thanks for the answers. I know it's crazy to worry about the details 5 months before the trip, but I feel better now.

There are 2 sets of bathrooms by the Luna Park Pool. The first being right across from the arcade......its in the tunnel area to go out to the Boardwalk. The other is at the canal side.....plus theres a big rack of towels right here as well. Enjoy........

We have often used the pools and changing areas when waiting for our room or after checking out. Facilities are very nice. And you get to use the pool towels for your bathing/bath needs afterwards!

Are there showers in the bathrooms near the pool, like at the Polynesian?
If you were to go swimming on the last day, after check out, is there a place to freshen up near the pool, or would you have to go to the gym?

We've used the gym facilities, don't know if there are other options.

We always use the bathrooms attached to Leaping Libations. (The merry-go-round shaped poolside bar.)

Leaping Libations also has PB&J sandwiches, nachos, fruit, and DS's personal favorite.. Smoothies..

Another tip.. When you check in, get the phone number for Mousekeeping for the resort.. That way you can check periodically to see if your room is ready. :teeth:

If you want to shower at BW, you have to go into the weight room/exercise area. OKW and SSR do have showers by the pool.

You could also try the Community Hall to kill time... There is video games, arts, crafts, boardgames, and etc. to keep the kids occupied.

There is a quiet pool, jacuzzi, and bathrooms over there as well... :thumbsup2
