We plan on going to a character breakfast at 8am so that the kids can see MM again at the Contemporary. We are staying at BWV for our first stay and plan to take the car and then drive over to SAB for the day.

Is there another way other than using the bus. ? Walk ? Boat ? Monorail.

Also we have NEVER been to BWV or SAB. We have one day to relax and the forecast is for high 70's. We plan on SAB or the Keiser pool BUT would need a kiddie play/pool area . I have no idea about the layout etc. Can anyone help paint a clearer picture of the two?

DS is 3 and DD 3months
DW is ...better not say!!!!!

Thanks

After you eat at the Comtemporary you can just drive back to BWV and park. SAB is only a 5 or 10 minute walk from BWV. We really like SAB. It has a great kiddie area that is almost like tide pools at the seashore. There is plenty of sand and a shallow sandy pool for the kids to play in. Be sure to bring pails and shovels just like at the beach. Be sure to keep a good eye on young ones because SAB has a lazy river that becomes very deep. It is sectioned off from the kiddie area but they can still walk there. SAB has a great main pool with a huge slide, a lazy river, the kiddie area, and a nice snack area. Get there early, chairs really start filling up by noon.

BWV and SAB are on either side of the same little lake. You can walk as suggested or ride the MGM- bound boat from BWV which stops at the YC (SAB is right there facing the lake), and the Epcot-bound boat back which stops first at BWV. I agree just use BWV as your base, use the car to and from Contemporary. I would not take the monorail:
1) You have to spend a day's admission to walk into and through Epcot to get to the monorail station
2) It is not a short walk from BWV to the Monorail station in the front of Epcot
3) You have to change to another monorail at the TTC to get to the Contemporary
4)The return trip involves #2 & #3 in reverse.

ENJOY!

You could not take the monorail from Epcot as it is not open in time for you to walk through to get to the monorail. Another way to get to the Contemporary is to take the bus (if it's operating that early) to MK then get on the resorts monorail to the Contemporary. This does require a significant amount of time so driving is definitely the best option. You could not park at the Y & B Club anyway so definitely a walk over is the best option for SAB. Bring your own stroller if possible as BWV is so accessible on foot to Epcot and MGM, you would not want to carry the children that far however.

There is also a kiddie pool and play area at the BWV pool.
