Will be checking in BWV 3/3 and using bell hops assistance for the first time. Will have about three small bags and a hanging bag. Do I have to have name tags on them or will they tag them for me. Expect to arrive about 1 PM so might have to wait for several hours for room assignment.
I'm use to OKW and parking outside the door and hauling them in myself.

When we valet park our car and the bell men take our luggage, there is a tag that they record our name on and it has several stickers with the same number on them as the tag. Each bag will have a number sticker placed on it. You are also given a card with the bag number & bell services phone number on it.
If your room isn't ready, they will hold your luggage in an area and all the bags with the same number are kept together until you call. When you get into your room, call bell services and they will ask for your number and all the bags will be delivered to your room.
If you are flying, you will need to have luggage tags on each bag with your name and address on it.
We normally tip $1-2 for each bag.

It is a good idea to have name tags on them. We had a bag separated on a trip to WDW from all of our other bags and the name tag helped. If you are flying, they like you to have name tags too.

We end up filling up a cart every trip with lots of baggage small and large. we've never tagged the small stuff and have never had a piece missing. They are really careful with your luggage. Enjoy your stay.

I would tag all your bags. One time they brought someone else's carryon bag with our luggage and we were missing a piece. I almost had a heart attack because the missing bag had my laptop locked inside. The bellman went back and found our bag.

Thanks for the replies. That seems like a workable system. We never fly, always drive. Don''t even have any "bag tags". Also some items such as a few groceries in a bag don't lend themselves well to ID tags.
