BWV check-in dilemma

We'll be at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal before checking in to the BWV on a Sunday. The day we check into BWV, we MIGHT visit DH's grandmother, about 60 miles away. That night, we plan to do the HoopDeeDoo, and therefore have no need/desire to enter any parks that day. We plan to check out early the following Sunday...our return flight is at 11ish AM.

The problem...we want to get LOS (UMP, UPHP) passes (I'm familiar with the other ticket options as well as the pros and cons of all of them), but definitely want to drop both the day of arrival and the day of departure. We also want to check in early and then go visit Granny, in the hopes of having a better shot at our room request...plus, we'll have more room in the car without the luggage. But, if we check in early, will they let us drop that first day?? Especially since we want to drop the last day as well.



Also...we can make PSs through MS, right?

Not sure what to tell you about your checking in and out dilema with the park passes but I do know that you can make your PS's through MS. Why not call MS to make your PS's and while you are at it ask if they would be able to find out about the park pass dilema for you? Good luck!

BWV front desk will let you leave off both days from LOS regardless of when you try to check in. Though you may check in early you might not get the room early.

Oohhh, that's good to hear. I don't care about getting into the room early...just want to drop off our luggage, hopefully get a better choice of rooms (if this new "first come, first served" method is in effect), and then head off to see granny.
