Are there any "bad" 2BR villas at BWV? When I say "bad", I mean out of the way, far from everything, too noisy of an area, etc.

I'm planning my flights and could arrive to check-in at BWV at either noon or 2:30 PM. I know check-in technically isn't until 4PM, but if we get there early, we may get our room assigned. Would the 2 1/2 hours really make a difference or are all the rooms in generally good locations?

Thanks!
Terri

We arrived at BWV this past Dec at 11:15 AM. Tried to check in, no luck, my sons asked if we could be on the top floor. CM told us we were on the 5th (top) floor N/S, but our room was not ready-it was pre-assigned according to CM. Checked our bags with bellhops and went to lunch at ESPN-we were one of the first people in for lunch that day :) . Walked back after lunch, still not ready. We had booked 1 bdr boardwalk view, so it didn't really matter all that much to us what floor we were on, we KNEW we had the boardwalk view. Walked to Epcot, called the number CM gave us at 3PM, still not ready. Got back to BWV about 4:15 and our room was ready-5th floor, N/S, boardwalk view!

According to CM, all rooms are pre-assigned at BWV. In Oct we will arrive about 1:00 PM, we plan to check in and if the room is not ready, just leave our bags and go to Epcot until 4PM. It's really not worth the trouble for us to keep checking. Plus, with BWV you know that if you book boardwalk view, that's what you get. Same with standard view-that's what you get. I guess preferred view can be a lot of things!

Thanks NMW!

I have preferred view booked and waitlisted for Boardwalk view. I'll be happy with either. I don't mind dropping my luggage off and hitting a restaurant or park if room isn't ready when I get there. I'd rather get the slightly later flight (that'll get me to WDW at 2:30) rather than have to be up at the crack of dawn to get to the airport. If units are pre-assigned, rather than 1st come 1st served, then it really won't matter if I get there at noon or 2:30.

Ditto for me. I have a preferred reserved and have been waitlisted for the Boardwalk view for about six months now and still no luck (as of last week). I'm still hoping but not real confident we'll get it. :sad2:
