BWV availability when BCV opens

Veteran DVCers,

Based on posts I've read in the past, it seems getting accomodations at BWV has been challenging for those that don't have it as their home resort. (11mo vs 7mo booking)

Do you find this to be true?

Do you think the open of BCV will make getting ressies easier at BWV?

Just wondering if getting BWV resale worth the extra dues/pt.

You will hear over and over, Buy Where You Plan To Stay. So yes it is worth the extra dues if you prefer to stay at BW. If you don't care, than buy at OKW and take your chances. The first year BCV is open, I believe you will have an easier time getting into BWV as many members from there and other resorts as well will be interested in trying BCV. After that, I think it will be harder to get in BWV, especially if there is a significant point difference for rooms at BCV, as many people will return to BWV who own there and BVC members who either want to save on points, or can't get into BCV, will add to the total # of other DVC owners trying to get in at the 7 month window. JMHO
