BWV at 7 month window

If I wanted to get there in the months of Jan., Sept., or Oct. would it be reasonably realistic to get a studio preferred?

Oct. No. It's Food and Wine Festival. You might get something, then again.... There were several posters on this board who never cleared for that time on the waitlist in spite of goign on it at 7 months.

Jan has a few weekends that are also going to be tough.

At the 7 month or less booking window ? October probably definitely not - its Food & Wine Festival time at Epcot and BWV and BCV are extremely hard to get during this event. January tough to say because this is a low point usage season and many DVC members plan trips at this time.
September may be best chance.

If you are a BWV owner of course then you could utilize 11 month booking advantage.

BWV is my home resort. I just called last week at my 11 month window to book our October '09 trip. Talked to the DVC rep about 15 minutes after the phone lines opened up, and all the standard view studios were booked. I was able to get a preferred studio, but they were going fast too. Based on this, I doubt you can get one at the 7 month window for October.

I snagged a SV studio for March this year. Traded my value studio at the AKV for it which I snagged a month earlier. I consider myself to be really lucky! SV and Value available at 4-5 months out. Not too shabby, so it can really depend!
