BWV - are connecting Villas possible?

I have been trying to get a 2-bedroom villa for President's Day week and, of course, there is no availability. I was able to book a 1-bedroom (standard view) and a studio (standard view). I was going to call in to request that the rooms connect, but I don't even know if that is a possibility with these room categories. Are there connecting 1-bedrooms and studios at BWV? Thanks so much for any info you may have!

2 bedroom villas are usually made up of a one bedroom and a connecting studio. Although there are some 2 bedrooms in certain resorts that are self-contained, they're the exception, not the rule, and are usually at the newer resorts.

If you have two separate reservations you will have to call to link them and request that they be connecting. The big issue you will have is that the request won't be guaranteed, but you can certainly make the request.

I believe all of the Villas at the Boardwalk are "Lock Offs" meaning a 1 bedroom connected to a studio.
If I am wrong I am sure someone will chime right in.
You can put in a "traveling with" notation on both reservations with Member Services. As suggested also call and request they be linked together.

All the 2 bedrooms are lockoffs. However, there also are studios and 1 bedrooms that don't connect, known as "dedicated". So with separate studio and 1 bedroom reservations, there is a good chance one or both will not have a connecting door since the lockoffs go to 2 bedrooms reservations.

BWV - 97 Dedicated Studios - 130 Dedicated 1Bdrm - 0 Dedicated 2Bdrm - 149 Lockoffs - 7 Grand Villas = 383 Villas / 532 Max. Available
