BWV and Resale Insight and Thoughts

Hey everyone!! Had my first ever DVC contract (BWV) head to Disney ROFR on May 15th and now I patiently wait!!!!! Had a couple questions that I know are guesstimates but was curious to get everyone's opinion or their experiences:

1st) If everything goes smooth: ROFR, Closing, etc what do you think the chances are of having my account set up and points in my account to make 11 month reservation at Boardwalk? For more clarity we are looking to go June 22nd-29th 2025 so the date would be July 22nd 2024 I believe.

2nd) If 1st is not likely, we are a family of 5, what are the chances of getting a 2-bedroom (1st choice), Studio (2nd choice) not right at 11months. Lets say 10 months out?

I’d guess w/ 60+ days you have a decent chance of having your points at the 11 month mark.
With BWV the high demand categories are standard & Boardwalk view, a pool/garden view reservation for the summer should be relatively easy to get at 10 months.

Congrats.. It could get done. I have had two closed in the last year and each took about 50 calendar days(one of which was an International Seller).

No idea on your second question.. Crossing my fingers for you.

I think you’ll be good, I’m planning on booking July 1 and I sent my contract off May 1, just passed today. It’ll be close but I think I’m fine, so I’d expect you’re going to get your points loaded in time.
