BWV and BCV 2 Bedroom October- December

I hate to even ask this as I know there is no definite answer- I am wondering if there has been any availability at BCV and BWV for a 2 Bedroom (ANY VIEW) at BWV and BCV available during the week for about 4 nights consecutive at the 7 month mark.

Ive been a DVC member for years but always book studios- I am very familiar with what studios are available at any given time during the year but never once looked for availability for a 2BR. I know studios are few and far between during this time due to F&W but what about 2BR? Is it the same deal- slim chance? We want to go during these months (not for food and wine, just for the location).

Can anyone comment on their experiences with weekday availability during these few months for a 2B? IF there is a slim chance (like studios at these resorts), I will try and plan for January which I know I can get for a few consecutive days. Thanks so much everyone!

BWV is very very difficult because it's all lock-offs so if the studios are booked then there are no 2BR's. BCV - such a small number of 2BR's that they go about as fast as the studios.

The obvious issue with BWV is that all 2BRs are lock-offs and thus if you know the issues you will have with studios, you automatically know the issues with 2BRs (contrary to what some have speculated in the past, they do not hold any 2BR lock-offs just so they can be reserved as 2BRs).

You would have had no chance for multiple nights in a row for a BWV 2BR standard or boardwalk view in that period in 2016 at 7 months out. For BWV pool/garden view and for BCV, there were some times when a couple nights were open but not more, except for the following periods. You could have gotten a BWV 2BR for Nov 26 (the Sat after Thanksgiving) through Nov 29. For BCV, you could have gotten a 2BR for four consecutive nights if you booked right at 8 a.m. eastern at 7 months out for the periods October 30 through November 2, November 13 through 16, November 16 through 20, November 27 through 30, and December 18 through 21. In other words, there may be some hope for 2017 at least for BCV in what are normally the slightly lower demand times during that high demand quarter: time in November after Foor & Wine ends to before the Thanksgiving time rush, time starting the Saturday after Thanskgiving but before Dec 1, and time between Dec 15 and Dec 22.
