BWV Advice!!

Help!! After our big family trip in a Kidani GV, we decided to take a "family-only" trip in early Nov for F&W. Since we used almost all our points, I booked just a studio at OKW borrowing a few points from next year. I have wait-listed for a studio at BWV. Just for kicks, I checked today, and by changing our dates by one day...we can get a 1BR standard view at BWV.

What are your opinions....i asked hubby and he has no opinion...ugh! So I'm looking to my "experts" for advice....should I use double the points and borrow more from next year and upgrade to the 1BR, or stick to the low points studio at OKW and hope that maybe our waitlist comes through for a studio at BWV.??????

Unless you've already decided, it may be moot...chances of that 1-BR standard still being available hours after you checked are pretty slim...

But assuming it is available, if your plans revolve around food & wine, it may well be worth the extra points to be at BWV (or BCV) ... and of course the extra space in the 1-BR will be a nice added bonus...

Good luck w/your decision...but whatever it is, I do think you should make it quickly, before that 1-BR SV disappears!

would go with the BWV 1-bedroom if you still can.

although OKW surprised me last time I stayed there for the food/wine - they had more buses to Epcot and they came fairly often. Of course there is still the long walk back to the buses at Epcot - when BWV is a short walk away.

Congrats on the 1 bdrm. DW & I also have a BWV 1 bdrm std 11/4-11/9. Enjoy the extra room and the short walk to WS & the F&W.

Now see if MS will allow you to request one of the corner x123 rooms. Chances are not good but maybe you will get lucky.

I would go with the BWV. I love that hotel i have a DVC owning there and we are going in exactly 3 monthes best place to stay by far. If you have any kids the pool is great if not there is a quit pool. the activities on the boardwalk are endless and there is delicous food

The x123 rooms have a different floor plan with a much larger dining/living room and a huge wrap-around balcony that has a view of the highest Illuminations fireworks. For some reason I can't find my link to an old DIS trip report that included photos of one of these rooms. I have a link to a thread from another DVC discussion board but I don't think it is legal to post it here. Sorry.

You can still keep your waitlist for the studio, if you prefere to save some points.
If you have borrowed some points, if the WL comes through, they will use the borrowed points first, then current UY points later. So you will be able to bank the extra points to use them next year.
