At the BWV are all the 2 bdrms lockoff?
Do they have any designated 2 Bdrms?

Thanks for any and all replies :wizard:

Just posting to support Mary Ellen's answer. There are no dedicated two bedroom units at the BWV. All of them are lock offs.

She is also correct about the 1 bedrooms. There are a few dedicated 1 bedroom units. Most are lock offs, though.

BWV also has some dedicated studios - these are sometimes referred to as "studio plus" units. These have a small daybed. The daybed is about 4 feet long and 2 feet wide. IMHO, it is quite hard and not suitable for a bed. Some have reported that their young children have used them for a bed, though. (We use it to store souvenirs. It is good for that, LOL).

More than you asked and probably more than you wanted to know! :)

Best wishes -

The unconfirmed rumor is that some of the model rooms that were used by the DVC sales department before they moved to SSR are being transformed into dedicated 2BR's. I was told this on my Thaksgiving trip by someone who has a 50-50 chance of really knowing. That's why I list it as a rumor.

Interesting. Did your 50-50 source know when the rooms will be completed and available for occupancy? :teeth:

If true, wonder if the BWV will make it a separate booking category - similar to VWL or BCV?

My understanding is that all of the 2BRs at BWV have a lock off configuration but some of these are designated 2BRs at BWV.

If you have one of these you cannot cancel the studio portion and keep the 1BR as you can with the non-designated 2BRs.

I rate everyone 50-50 because I get the feeling no one really knows but everyone either thinks they do or pretends they do. One of my favorite things to do (which I get the feeling is the same as many Disers) when I'm at WDW is to talk to the CM's about what's happening. I talk to everybody and love seeing where the conversation goes. Of course, one of the questions I didn't ask was when the rooms would be finished, even though I was staying right over the top of the ones being constructed. Go figure!

BTW: I also heard on my last trip that there is no way the CR is being converted into DVC.
