We had plans for our upcoming trip in June to stay at the Camelot Inn & Suites, where we've stayed before. It was fine, and we liked some of the suite benefits. BUT...after reading many posts, I decided it would be nice to try something different, and made reservations for a mini suite at BWPPI. I do have a couple of questions...

--What room location could I request that would most likely be the quietest?

--I've read that parking is difficult there. Do they ever run out of parking? What do you do then? I don't want to be scared to move my car in case we need a grocery store run.

Thanks for all the information on this sight...it gets me excited for my upcoming trip!

Try not to get ground floor where people walk by, and try to get a room opposite Captain Kidds.

Parking is tight at all the hotels on Harbor. I think BWPPI is typical. I have parked there many times just fine but they do pay attention.

- Stay away from the pool area. It is really loud during the afternoon if you are coming back for a break from DL. When kids play in the pool in the middle of BWPPI hotel, it is noisy. Also don't get a bottom room since it is very loud when people walk on top.

- They have plenty of parking spaces at BWPPI. It is very tight, but there is enough spots. The hotel and Captain Kidd's restaurant share the same parking lot when you enter the parking lot, but the hotel parking lot have two sides of parking around the hotel. If you are staying on the other side of the hotel, you can park over there.

Try to get a top floor room at the very back of the hotel...I stayed there last month, and I heard next to NO noise way back there :thumbsup2 However, I stayed in a king bed room so I'm not sure if the room type you have reservations for would also be located in the back/top level.

Not sure about parking as I didn't bring/rent a car. It looked pretty tight, but no more so than most hotels along Harbor Blvd..

Does the "back of the hotel" add a significant amount of walking to get to the park? We are dragging 3 kids and I want to be as close as possible!

Also, how many floors are there, and is there an elevator?

Thanks.

Honestly, it does add a bit of walk time. It was so quiet, though, that the only way I knew there was anyone in the adjacent rooms was because I'd see my "neighbors" when we'd all go to the free breakfast in the mornings

There are 3 floors & an elevator.
