BWI vs Swan vs Dolphins

I already reserved the BWI for our December trip. I have debating whether I should switch to Swan or Dolphins as they are a lot cheaper. We will mostly going to be out in the theme park. We may use the hotel pool but will it be too cold in December?

Have stayed at both and actually prefer the S&D. Pool is heated to 82 degrees all year. Also, you likely will have no problem using the BWI pool that time of year, just ask one of the pool guards.

Drove down that year. No airport transfers for S&D.

You can book return limo service from airport, there are various services. Used FL Tours once, was fine - plus with ME you might stop at several resorts before the bus arrives at yours - you avoid this with the limo service (time is money).

Keep in mind S&W charges for parking if thinking of renting a car.

If you will have a car add about $45 per day to the rate to cover the S&D resort fee and parking fee. If flying, add abut $25 per day and the cost of a taxi, limo or uber to/from the airport.

With discounts, the S&D are still usually significantly less expensive than the BWI. We often choose the S or D partly for that reason. Plus, the S & D have very comfortable beds. Be aware that the Swan has queen beds but the Dolphin has 2 double beds in their rooms. Also, the Swan has the first pick up and drop off bus stop.

Weather in Dec is hit or miss. pools are heated so you can use them anyway, but the air can be quite cool, especially if you are wet. WE don't like the clown pool at the BWI, we actually prefer the S&D pool.
