BWI vs. BWV?? newbie needs advice!

I am a DIS veteran but not at DVC vet!! We have ressies for BWI in October....but by reading the boards sounds like I would be better off by renting points for BWV during this time. We are a family of 5, youngest in a crib.

Any advice, recommendations?? Is staying at BWV essentially the same as BWI? We have concierge ressies.

I would recommend a BWV 1 bedroom. If you rent points for weeknights, you might be paying less than the BWI room with twice the space. I think a BWV studio would be too crowded, but you could do it. You would lose the conceirge services though but you would have a refrigerator if you wanted to buy your own food.

You may have trouble getting something this late for October. That is a very popular time at the BWV because of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. Just remember too that with DVC you don't get daily maid service like you would at the BWI. You can pay extra though and get it.
