It seems like I'm resort flipping constantly. Of those who have stayed at either the Boardwalk Inn or the Beach Club, please let me know your recommendations.

There are 5 of us, 2 adults 3 boys - 8,5,3

Thanks!

When are you going?

I would say BC because of the pool alone and it is really close to Epcot.

Both are good choices, but the edge goes to BC simply because of the pool.

We are going the 15th and chose the Beach Club. The pool is just a lot more appealing. We also plan to end our days at Epcot quite a bit, so it's just that much closer.

I would pick the BW because the BC pool does not appeal to me all. I think I am one of 4 people that feel this way. Ha!! I like that the pool area is tucked away and not exposed to the walkway around crescent lake like Storm Along Bay.

I like variety of shops & restaurants on the BW. I like that they are not in the resort so there's not that craziness that comes with guests waiting for their tables.

A BW drawback is the bus situation. They share with the Swan & Dolphin. I find that both annoying and time consuming but being close to 2 parks makes up for that a bit (plus we drive most places). Also, they do not have a self serve beverage station. You have to go to the pool bar, the bakery and I am not sure where else since we don't get the mugs. And the clown slide. A lot of people are bothered by clowns.

But both resorts are great in such a wonderful location...you can't lose either way.

Good luck with your decision.

We just came back from a split stay at the BWV and BCV and although I would recommend both, we did love the BC more. We couldn't get enough of the Stormalong Bay. The pool is amazing! Your kids are going to love it! There are some great threads with pics of the pool...you should check it out. And if you really can't decide, the split stay wasn't a hastle at all. Bell services transferred our luggage while we were at the parks. But no matter what, you can't go wrong. We love staying in the Boardwalk area.

I haven't stayed at BC, but I did stay BWV. I was not impressed with BWV so I would definitely choose BC. I really did not like the restaurant situation at BWV and will probably never stay there again. Anytime we wanted anything we had to go to the Bakery or somewhere on the BW. I know it isn't far away, but I just didn't like it. I also didn't find the atmosphere to be special or anything. I loved our stay at AKL and I am so looking forward to CR in October. I only stayed BWV because I rented points from someone and that was the best available when I booked.

I have stayed at BWV several times and love it there. Now this trip, which is only 11 days away, we are trying BC.

I am trying to keep an open mind but I keep thinking about the BW. I love it there. The atmosphere of the lobby and boardwalk with the music playing. The pools are great.

Now we have stayed at YC and we were not crazy over SAB. Too crowded for us and too big of a pool. We enjoy the quieter pools so this trip I'm sure we'll use the quiet pool and not SAB.

I'll try to check back and let you know if I was longing for BW or if BC has won my heart.

We stayed at the Beach Club many years ago and loved it. The lazy river at Stormalong Bay was a lot of fun. That being said, I wouldn't select Boardwalk Inn for two reasons: (1) it just seems to close to the action along the Boardwalk and, (2) the clown pool scares me--I don't like clowns--just my opinion.

Definitely BC for the pool if you have kids. My kids were bored with the BW pool very quickly, but never with the BC pool. Plus, there's a marketplace onsite at BC for food/snacks/etc. At BW you are limited to the bakery for breakfast every day - nothing "onsite" meaning right within your hotel. We don't miss the atmosphere of the BW because it's just a short trek over there at night from BC to enjoy the festivities.

We absolutely love BCR. We stayed there last year and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The proximity to Epcot was amazing. To be honest - I don't even like the BW area. We went there one night and really didn't see what the appeal is. So I know we wouldn't enjoy that resort much. It's just not our thing.
